Marked at birth, Teri Washington was raised knowing that she was destined for greatness. In 1985 she answered the call of God to “snatch men out of hell.”
With this burden she has traveled throughout the country on assignment. She has dedicated her life to the ministry of Jesus Christ and is fully persuaded that there is nothing impossible for God.
Teri Washington was raised in a Pentecostal church, St. Stephens United Church of God, Inc., Brooklyn, New York, where she served in Kingdom building for over 23 years under the leadership of Bishop Marvin D. Williams. In 1998, God enlarged her borders and placed her in covenant with Bishop George C. Searight and Lady Mary Searight at the Abundant Life Family Worship Church in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she served as a Licensed Minister and Ministry Leader of over 2000 Women for many years.
Pastor Teri Washington holds a degree in Theology from the St. Stephen’s Bible Institute and is currently furthering her education in Theology and Communications.
God has placed the Shofar in her hand and given her the charge to “Sound the alarm..blow the trumpet and gather the people.” She agrees with 1Corinthians 14:8 “If the trumpet does not sound a clear call, how can the people prepare for battle?”
Under this mantle she and her husband, Pastor George Malachi Washington launched out in faith and founded, The Shofar Church where they pastor together positioning a spiritual army for God in Atlanta, GA.; Shofar University where they teach and equip men for Kingdom service and Shofar Communications, a Media Company; housing Third Dimension Publishing, Inc. (a Christian publishing company) and THE CLARION CALL (a Metro-Atlanta Christian Newspaper).
She has been blessed to author several books entitled; “Take off the Mask”, “Silly Women” and “Not on my Watch - A Spiritual Call to Arms." However, her greatest gifts are her three children, Jasmyn Camille, Malachi Blair, Destiny Laurice and her 19 year marriage to her hero.
